Zell Bryan Miller, an American politician, was a United States senator representing Georgia from 2000 to 2005 and the 79th governor of Georgia from 1991 to 1999. He was affiliated with the Democratic Party and held the position of lieutenant governor of Georgia from 1975 to 1991. Transitioning from a liberal stance as governor to a conservative Democrat during his senatorial term, Miller later worked as a Fox News contributor and joined a law firm’s national government affairs practice upon retiring from the Senate.
