Yannick Agnel, a retired French competitive swimmer, is renowned for his success in freestyle events. He has achieved three Olympic medals, including gold in the 200m freestyle and 4x100m freestyle relay, as well as silver in the 4x200m freestyle relay during the 2012 Summer Olympics. Agnel also holds world records in the 400m freestyle (short course) and European records in the 800m freestyle (short course). His outstanding performance in 2012 led to him being named Swimming World’s European Swimmer of the Year.
