Wendi Richter, a former American professional wrestler, had a successful career in various wrestling promotions. She began her career in the National Wrestling Alliance, winning the NWA Women’s World Tag Team Championship twice with Joyce Grable. In the 1980s, Richter joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) where she held the WWF Women’s Championship twice and had a notable feud with The Fabulous Moolah. She was also part of the “Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Connection” storyline with Cyndi Lauper before departing WWF under controversial circumstances. Richter later competed in the World Wrestling Council and American Wrestling Association, where she won women’s titles in both organizations.
