Ward Kimball was a renowned American animator who made significant contributions to Walt Disney Animation Studios as a member of Disney’s Nine Old Men. In addition to his animation work, Kimball was also known for his passion for railroads and his talent as a jazz trombonist. He formed and directed the Dixieland band Firehouse Five Plus Two, combining his musical skills with his successful career in animation.
