Walter Rudolph Walsh was a distinguished FBI agent, USMC shooting instructor, and Olympic shooter. He joined the FBI in 1934 and played a key role during the Public Enemy era, being involved in high-profile cases such as the capture of Arthur Barker and the killing of Al Brady. During WWII, he served in the Pacific theatre before becoming a shooting instructor with the Marine Corps until his retirement. Known for his marksmanship, Walsh won numerous tournaments and coached the Olympic shooting team until 2000. At 103, he was the oldest living former FBI agent and the longest-lived Olympic competitor.
