Vitaly Vasilyevich Shishov was a dedicated Belarusian political activist and dissident in exile, known for his leadership as the head of the Belarusian House in Ukraine. In this role, he led efforts to help those fleeing political repression in Belarus after the 2020–2021 protests. Sadly, Shishov’s career was abruptly halted when he disappeared from his Kyiv residence and was subsequently discovered deceased in a park, leading to suspicions of foul play and fears of an assassination orchestrated by Belarusian government operatives.
