Vinod Dua was a highly respected Indian journalist renowned for his work with Doordarshan and NDTV India. He made history in 1996 as the first electronic media journalist to be honored with the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award. His outstanding contributions to journalism were recognized with the Padma Shri for Journalism in 2008. In 2017, he was awarded the RedInk Award for lifetime achievement in journalism by the Mumbai Press Club.
