Vicki Cardwell BEM is a former Australian World No. 1 squash player who dominated the international circuit from the late-1970s to the mid-1990s. She achieved significant success during her career, including winning the World Open in 1983 and securing the British Open title four consecutive times from 1980 to 1983. After retiring from professional play, she continued to excel in seniors events, clinching four World Masters Championships titles. Cardwell has been honored with inductions into the Australian Sport Hall of Fame and the Squash Australia Hall of Fame, as well as receiving the British Empire Medal for her contributions to Australian sport.
