Urijah Faber is an American former mixed martial artist and actor known for competing in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He founded Team Alpha Male and has a background in NCAA wrestling, transitioning to Brazilian jiu-jitsu where he achieved a brown belt under Fábio “Pateta” Prado. Faber won the WEC Featherweight Championship and held it for over two and a half years. He is considered a pioneer for lighter-weight classes and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame for his contributions.
