Timothy Peter Lambesis is an American musician and producer, known for his role as the founding member, lead vocalist, and sole continuous member of metalcore band As I Lay Dying. He also has a solo thrash metal project called Austrian Death Machine, dedicated to actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Additionally, Lambesis formed a death metal band called Pyrithion and played guitar for Society’s Finest and Point of Recognition. He briefly served as a judge for the Independent Music Awards. Despite a criminal conviction in 2014, Lambesis was released on parole in 2016 and has since reunited with As I Lay Dying to release new music.
