Theodore Long, a former professional wrestling referee, manager, and authority figure, had notable tenures in NWA, WCW, and WWE. He started his career in the National Wrestling Alliance and later transitioned to WWE in 1998 as a referee. Long then became an on-screen manager in 2003 and went on to serve as General Manager of SmackDown for two separate periods totaling six years, as well as a one-year stint as ECW General Manager. In 2017, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
