Tendai Mtawarira, also known as “Beast,” is a retired professional rugby union player. He played for Old Glory DC in Major League Rugby and represented the South Africa national team as well as the Sharks in Super Rugby. Mtawarira made his debut in 2008 and holds the record for the most capped prop in South African history with 117 caps. He is one of the most capped international forwards and props. Additionally, he is a 2019 Rugby World Cup winner and a successful entrepreneur, owning a security company and running The Beast Foundation.
