Ted Lindsay, a Canadian professional ice hockey player, is renowned for his time with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Black Hawks in the NHL. Lindsay amassed over 800 points, claimed the Art Ross Trophy in 1950, and earned four Stanley Cup triumphs. Given the nickname “Terrible Ted,” he was instrumental in establishing a Players’ Association in the late 1950s, resulting in his transfer to Chicago. Lindsay’s significant contributions to the NHL were acknowledged when he was selected as one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history in 2017.
