Suzy Chaffee, a former Olympic alpine ski racer, actress, and model, gained fame in the 1970s for her freestyle ballet skiing. She competed in the 1968 Winter Olympics as a member of the US Ski Team. Chaffee was a three-time world freestyle skiing champion and is a member of the National Ski Hall of Fame. A dedicated social activist, she advocated for Title IX legislation, served on the board of the U.S. Olympic Committee, and co-founded the Native Voices Foundation. Chaffee also had a successful career appearing in films and endorsing various products.
