Steve Strange, a Welsh singer, rose to prominence as the frontman of the synth-pop band Visage. He was also recognized for his work as a nightclub host and promoter in the late 1970s. A key figure in the development of the New Romantic movement in the early 1980s, Steve Strange was widely regarded as one of its leading influencers. Together with Visage, he enjoyed success with their popular track “Fade to Grey.” Throughout this period, Steve Strange made significant contributions to both the music and fashion scenes.
