Steve Stone is an American former MLB player, sportscaster, and author who pitched for four MLB teams from 1971 to 1981. He won the AL Cy Young Award and was an All-Star with the Baltimore Orioles in 1980. Stone served as a color commentator for Chicago Cubs broadcasts on WGN-TV from 1983 to 2004 before transitioning to radio until 2009. He then became the color commentator for Chicago White Sox television broadcasts. Stone’s career has been distinguished by his achievements both on the field and in broadcasting.
