Stephen Mizerak Jr., also known as “The Miz,” was a highly skilled American pool player from New Jersey. He was renowned for his dominance in straight pool during the 1970s, earning a reputation as one of the greatest players in the sport’s history. Mizerak won more than 70 tournaments over the course of his career, including two World Straight Pool Championship titles and four consecutive BCA U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship titles. His exceptional talent was highlighted by his record-setting high run of 421 balls during his professional career.
