Shafi Goldwasser is a distinguished Israeli-American computer scientist recognized for her pioneering advancements in cryptography and computational complexity theory. She holds the position of RSA Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT and is a professor of mathematical sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Furthermore, she serves as the director of the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at UC Berkeley.
