Seppo Henrik Räty, a retired Finnish track and field athlete, is celebrated for his exceptional javelin throwing abilities. He secured the World Championship title in 1987 and clinched Olympic medals, including silver in 1992 and bronze in 1988 and 1996. Räty previously held a world record in javelin throw, which was invalidated due to the use of a banned javelin. Following his retirement, he shifted to coaching and presently guides another talented javelin thrower.
