Robert Michael Doornbos is a retired Dutch racing driver known for his participation in various racing series. He served as a test and third driver for Jordan and Red Bull Racing in Formula One. He also drove for Minardi and Red Bull Racing in 2005 and 2006. Doornbos competed in the Champ Car World Series for Minardi Team USA in 2007. He further participated in the Superleague Formula series in 2008 and represented the Netherlands in A1 Grand Prix’s 2008–2009 season. In 2009, he raced in the IndyCar Series with Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing and HVM Racing.
