Peter Blos(German-American Psychoanalyst)

Peter Blos, a German-American early psychoanalyst, is renowned for his groundbreaking research on child and adolescent psychological development. He collaborated closely with Erik Erikson and pursued studies in education at the University of Heidelberg. Blos also worked in partnership with Anna Freud and sought refuge in New Orleans to escape the Nazi regime before permanently relocating to New York. He played a pivotal role in the New York Psychoanalytical Society and authored influential works on adolescent development, leaving a lasting impact on the field.
