Oscar De La Hoya, an American boxing promoter and former professional boxer, had a successful career from 1992 to 2008. He achieved impressive feats, such as winning 11 world titles across six weight classes and securing lineal championships in three weight categories. Known as “The Golden Boy of boxing,” he earned this nickname for his achievements in the 1992 Summer Olympics. In 2002, he established Golden Boy Promotions, making history as the first American of Mexican descent to own a national boxing promotional firm. Additionally, De La Hoya expanded his ventures by entering the realm of promoting MMA matches starting in 2018.
