Nicolette Larson was an American singer known for her collaborations with Neil Young in the late 1970s. Her 1978 hit single “Lotta Love” reached No. 1 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and No. 8 on the pop singles chart. She later transitioned to country music in the mid-1980s, charting six times on the US country singles chart. Larson’s top-40 country hit was a duet with Steve Wariner titled “That’s How You Know When Love’s Right”. She passed away in 1997 due to cerebral edema and liver failure.
