Nick Mason is a renowned English drummer recognized for his founding role in the influential progressive rock group Pink Floyd. Since the band’s establishment in 1964, he has remained the sole consistent member and has contributed to every Pink Floyd album. Mason has co-written notable Pink Floyd songs and established a new band, Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, to revisit the band’s early music. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, Mason also has a strong interest in classic cars, motorsport racing, and has produced literature and documentaries on these topics.
