Neal Schon is a highly accomplished American musician and songwriter, known for his role as the co-founder and lead guitarist of the legendary rock band Journey. Being the only original member left, he has been instrumental in the band’s enduring success. Before his time with Journey, Schon was part of Santana and later joined the band Bad English during Journey’s break. He was also a key member of Hardline. Schon’s significant contributions to the music industry have been honored with inductions into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Journey.
