Muggsy Bogues is a retired American basketball player who is famous for being the shortest NBA player at 5 feet 3 inches. Throughout his 14-season NBA career, he played as a point guard for teams such as the Charlotte Hornets, Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors. Bogues was known for his exceptional skills in assists and steals, consistently ranking highly in both categories. Despite his height disadvantage, he displayed surprising defensive abilities, even managing to block shots from much taller opponents. Following his retirement, he transitioned into coaching and led the Charlotte Sting in the WNBA.
