Mohammad Mosaddegh was a prominent Iranian politician, author, and lawyer who held the position of the 30th Prime Minister of Iran from 1951 to 1953. During his tenure, he implemented significant social and political reforms such as social security, land reforms, and the nationalization of the Iranian oil industry. However, his government was toppled in the 1953 Iran coup engineered by UK and US intelligence agencies. Subsequently, Mosaddegh was imprisoned, placed under house arrest, and later laid to rest in his residence.
