Mike Katz is a retired American IFBB professional bodybuilder and former professional football player who played for the New York Jets. He ended his football career because of a leg injury. Katz is well-known for his role in the 1977 bodybuilding documentary “Pumping Iron” with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also appeared in the documentary “Challenging Impossibility,” where he discussed the weightlifting journey of spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy. Katz was honored with induction into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum for his significant contributions to sports.
