Michael Scudamore was a prominent English National Hunt racing jockey during the 1950s and 1960s. He rode in 16 consecutive Grand Nationals, winning on Oxo in 1959 and also piloting the Gold Cup champion, Linwell, in 1957. Unfortunately, his riding career ended in 1966 due to serious injuries sustained in a fall at Wolverhampton. Despite this setback, Scudamore made a smooth transition to become a successful trainer, leaving a significant mark on the horse racing industry.
