Michael Pollan is an esteemed American journalist, professor, and author known for his contributions to food culture and environmental journalism. He currently holds the Knight Professor of Science and Environmental Journalism position at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and serves as the first Lewis K. Chan Arts Lecturer at Harvard University. Additionally, Pollan is the director of the Knight Program in Science and Environmental Journalism at UC Berkeley, and he established the UC Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics in 2020.
