Marco Simoncelli, also known as Sic, was a prominent Italian motorcycle racer who competed in the MotoGP World Championship for ten years. He began in the 125cc class, progressed to the 250cc class, where he won the 2008 250cc World Championship. In 2010, Simoncelli moved up to the MotoGP class and raced with the Honda Gresini Team. Unfortunately, his career was tragically cut short when he passed away in a racing accident at the 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix.
