Marcia Gudereit is a Canadian curler known for her exceptional skills in the sport. She was a key member of Team Schmirler, which secured a gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics and achieved three World Curling Championship victories. Following Sandra Schmirler’s passing, Gudereit continued with the team under skip Jan Betker. She is currently affiliated with the Caledonia Curling Club in Regina, Saskatchewan, while also working as a systems analyst at The Co-operators. Gudereit’s achievements led to her induction into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
