Mamuka Gorgodze, a retired Georgian rugby union player, competed in the Top 14 for Toulon and previously Montpellier. Starting as a lock, he later found success as a flanker or number eight. Gorgodze earned 71 caps for the Georgia national team, with 13 matches as captain. He took part in three Rugby World Cups and initially retired from international play in 2017, only to return for the 2019 World Cup. Known as “Gorgodzilla” and “Gulliver” for his commanding presence and aggressive style of play.
