Madelaine Smith, a British skeleton racer, has made a name for herself with stellar performances on the Skeleton World Cup and other competitive circuits. Transitioning from hurdling in athletics, she took up skeleton following advice from Lloyd Wallace, an aerial skier. Since starting her racing career in 2014, Madelaine has achieved notable successes, including a 17th place finish on the World Cup circuit and multiple 5th place finishes in Calgary. In the 2019/2020 season, she ventured further into winter sports by creating her own line of winter sports sunglasses for the British eyewear brand – Toyshades.
