Liú Ān was a prominent figure during the Han dynasty, known for his contributions to philosophy, literature, and governance. He served as a Chinese cartographer, monarch, and philosopher, playing a significant role as an advisor to Emperor Wu of Han. Liú Ān is credited with editing the Huainanzi compendium, which integrated Daoist, Confucianist, and Legalist teachings. Additionally, he is acknowledged for inventing tofu and is revered as a Daoist adept capable of transcending earthly limitations.
