Lê Quang Liêm is a highly accomplished Vietnamese chess grandmaster, recognized as the top player in his country. He earned the prestigious title of Grandmaster from FIDE in 2006. Throughout his career, Liêm has claimed impressive victories, including winning the Asian Chess Championship in 2019 and being crowned the World Blitz Chess Champion in 2013. He has been a key member of Vietnam’s Chess Olympiad team since 2006, achieving notable success in 2012. Currently residing in St. Louis, Missouri, Liêm serves as the head coach for the Webster University Chess Team.
