Larry E. Mahan was a renowned American professional rodeo cowboy who achieved great success in the sport. He secured six all-around world championships and two bull riding world championships in the Rodeo Cowboys Association circuit at the National Finals Rodeo. Mahan’s accomplishments and influence in rodeo were further highlighted in the award-winning documentary, The Great American Cowboy. His significant contributions to the sport were recognized with his induction into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 1979 and later as a Legend of ProRodeo in 2010.
