Lara Logan is a South African journalist and war correspondent who gained recognition for her work with various news organizations in the 1990s. She joined CBS News in 2002 as a correspondent and later Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent. Logan’s reporting on the American invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 was particularly noteworthy. After leaving CBS in 2018, she made controversial claims related to conspiracy theories and subsequently joined Sinclair Broadcast Group and Fox Nation.
