Lane Frost, a celebrated American professional rodeo cowboy, specialized in bull riding and competed in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). In 1987, he became the PRCA World Champion bull rider. Frost made history by being the only rider to successfully ride Red Rock, the 1987 PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year. Unfortunately, his career came to a tragic end in 1989 during a ride called “The Last Ride,” when he suffered fatal injuries from the bull Takin’ Care of Business.
