Fusing jazz and Latin American music styles with classical orchestrations, he has been honored with five Grammy Awards and has been a nominee for Oscars and Emmys. Some of Schifrin’s most well-known works include the iconic themes from Mission: Impossible and Mannix, as well as scores for classic movies such as Cool Hand Luke, Bullitt, and Enter the Dragon. He also had a significant collaboration with Clint Eastwood on the Dirty Harry film series.
