As the president and CEO of Tracinda Corporation, he was instrumental in developing large-scale resorts in the city, such as constructing the world’s largest hotel on three separate occasions. Kerkorian also purchased the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie studio. Noteworthy for his philanthropic work, he generously supported charitable causes in Armenia through the Lincy Foundation and backed the creation of a film shedding light on the Armenian genocide.
