Ketevan “Keto” Losaberidze excelled as an archer, representing the Soviet Union at the 1972 and 1980 Olympics. She earned a gold medal in 1980, making her the sole Soviet Olympic champion in archery. Losaberidze also clinched various world, European, and Soviet titles during her career. After retiring from competitions, she pursued a career in academia as a mathematics professor at Tbilisi State University. From 2002 to 2005, she served as the head of the Georgian Archery Federation, playing a key role in its operations.
