Ken Singleton enjoyed a successful career as a professional baseball player and television sports commentator. He played in Major League Baseball as an outfielder and designated hitter from 1970 to 1984, notably with the Baltimore Orioles where he was a three-time All-Star and part of the 1983 World Series winning team. Singleton also played for the New York Mets and the Montreal Expos. He received the Roberto Clemente Award in 1982 and was later inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame in 1986. After retiring, Singleton had a lengthy broadcasting career, notably with the New York Yankees from 1997 to 2021.
