Karl Malone, also known as “the Mailman,” is a retired American professional basketball player who had a successful career in the NBA. He played 18 seasons with the Utah Jazz, where he formed a strong partnership with John Stockton. Malone was a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, a 14-time NBA All-Star, and a 13-time All-NBA Team member. He ranks third all-time in career points scored. Malone played college basketball at Louisiana Tech University and also represented the United States in the Olympics. In 2010, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
