Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero, a Spanish retired professional motorcycle racer, had a successful career in MotoGP. As a five-time World Champion, he won three MotoGP World Championships and two 250cc World Championships. Starting with Yamaha in 2008, he enjoyed nine seasons of success, clinching multiple championship wins and runner-up finishes. Despite initial struggles at Ducati in 2017, Lorenzo bounced back in 2018 with three victories. His move to Repsol Honda in 2019 marked the beginning of his retirement. Lorenzo continues to be involved in motorsports and was honored with an induction into the MotoGP Hall of Fame in 2022.
