Jonathan David Edwards is a retired British triple jumper known for holding the world record in the triple jump since 1995. After his athletic career, he became a sports commentator and presenter for BBC television and Eurosport, specializing in athletics. Edwards has also hosted episodes of the BBC Christian worship program Songs of Praise before he publicly renounced his faith in 2007. Additionally, he has been actively involved in different capacities related to the Olympic Games, including serving on the London Organising Committee for the 2012 games.
