Johnny Rebel, also known as Pee Wee Trahan, was an American singer, songwriter, and musician who gained notoriety for recording songs supportive of white supremacy. He released tracks in the 1960s under the Johnny Rebel name that promoted racial hatred and sympathized with segregation, the KKK, and the Confederacy. Trahan mentioned upon retiring in 2003 that his motivation for creating such music was financial gain rather than a desire to spread hate or incite trouble.
