John Hummer is a retired professional basketball player who had a successful career in the NBA, playing for the Braves, Bulls, and SuperSonics. Hummer went on to co-found Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that specializes in investing in software companies, alongside Ann Winblad.
