Joe Kubert, a prolific comic book artist, art teacher, and founder of The Kubert School, is celebrated for his work on DC Comics characters like Sgt. Rock and Hawkman. He also created original characters such as Tor, Son of Sinbad, and the Viking Prince. In collaboration with writer Robin Moore, he contributed to the comic strip Tales of the Green Beret. Kubert’s significant contributions to the industry led to inductions into the Harvey Awards’ Jack Kirby Hall of Fame and the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame.
