Jean-Marc Boivin was a renowned French adventurer known for his groundbreaking achievements in extreme sports. He set altitude records in hang gliding and paragliding, completed numerous first ascents and ski descents in the Alps, and was part of a team that broke a sub-glacial diving record. Boivin made history as the first person to paraglide from the top of Mount Everest. Sadly, he met his end after sustaining injuries while BASE jumping from Angel Falls in Venezuela, the tallest waterfall on Earth.
